Dr (Mrs) Beatrice Wiafe-Addai, the President of BreastCare International (BCI) stated that The “sucking and massaging of breast by men do not prevent a woman from having a breast cancer.”
She also mentioned that the disease is a serious disease not to be taken lightly, the massaging and examination will help to detect a lump early if any be formed breast for early treatment.
“The fact that one’s breast is being sucked or massaged doesn’t mean that she cannot have breast cancer, and it will not also remove the cancer from the breast as some people say“.
She was speaking at a breast cancer educational and clinical screening organised by Breast Care International at the Accra College of Education on the theme, “Breast cancer won’t rest, so why should we?“
