Afrifanom Limited is looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dynamic team player to occupy the vacant position below;
Position: Product and Innovations Officer.
The job incumbent will research and develop new ideas, products, and services, as well as collaborate with other departments to ensure successful product launches.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product design activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing innovative and user-friendly products and solutions.
- Analyze customer feedback, user behavior, and market trends to identify potential opportunities for product innovation.
- Analyze customer feedback on existing products to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create detailed product specifications and design documents.
- Monitor product development progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Track competitors’ products, services, and innovations, and provide insights to the team.
- Work closely with software developers and testers to ensure product quality and usability.
- Manage product release cycles and coordinate with the team for launch campaigns.
- Support post-launch product updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the Tech space.
- Proven track record in designing innovative and user-friendly products and solutions.
- Conducting market research and analyzing data to identify key issues that needs innovative solutions
- Excellent familiarity and understanding of brand building, brand management and product launching
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to contribute to marketing strategies
