About Scholarship
The scheme awards students who aspire to become influential leaders in their future careers, have wide-ranging interests outside their studies and have the desire to broaden their personal and academic experience at the University of St Andrews.
Five awards are available, each worth £20,000 towards tuition fees for full-time postgraduate taught masters programmes (MSc or MLitt) across all subject areas.

Additional criteria
You must have applied for a taught postgraduate masters course: MLitt, MRes, MSc.
Non-masters postgraduate programmes, including the Graduate Diploma, are not eligible courses for this scholarship. Online, distance learning or courses delivered at a Scottish university campus overseas are not eligible for the scholarship.
How to Apply
This scholarship is available through the St Leonard’s Masters Scholarship application in the Scholarships and Funding catalogue, in the Scholarships and Funding section of My Application.
- After you have applied to a postgraduate taught masters programme for the 2023-2024 academic year, you must allow 2 working days for processing and issue of your log in details before you can apply for this scholarship.
- If you are a current student at St Andrews, you can access Scholarships and Funding through MySaint.
- However, you should wait until after you have applied for your intended postgraduate programme before doing so, to ensure that the scholarship application is linked to the correct course.
