UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School Scholarship 2023

UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School Scholarship will be awarded to successful MSc candidates, with the scholarships covering from 25% to 50% of tuition fees.

These scholarships are awarded to academically exceptional students who will be ambassadors for their course and the School during their studies and after graduation.

Our role in educating business leaders stretches back over 100 years with the establishment of the UCD Faculty of Commerce  in 1908.

Today, UCD College of Business comprises UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Smurfit Executive Development and UCD International Business Campus.

In 1964 UCD became one of the first European universities to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In 1991, the Graduate School of Business moved to the dedicated campus at Blackrock.

1. The UCD Smurfit School MSc Excellence Scholarship is open to residents outside of Ireland.
2. The Scholarship is open to those who have submitted an application directly to UCD Smurfit School for 2023 entry to one of the MSc program or the Master of Accounting.
3. The UCD Smurfit School MSc Excellence Scholarships will be awarded to the candidate deemed to be of the highest caliber by the UCD Smurfit School assessment panel. UCD Smurfit School reserves the right not to award the Scholarship prize if no candidate of the required caliber is identified. The decision is final, and any further correspondence will not be entered into.
4. Candidates should have a university degree.
5. The scholarship is worth up to 25% to 50% of the tuition fees of the FT MSc.
6. The competition is not open to recipients of any other scholarships being awarded by UCD Smurfit School but is to open to those who have applied for 2023 entry to the program.
7. Candidates must be available to commence the MSc program end of August 2023.
   Scholarships cannot be deferred to a future academic year.
8. No cash alternative.
9. No substitutions allowed.
10. By entering you are deemed to have accepted the rules and terms & conditions of the scholarship.
    Scholarship recipients will be asked to agree to act as student ambassadors, which will include duties at university events, recruitment events, participate in panels, and contribute to the University online and social media activities.
11. Please note that UCD Belfield programs run in conjunction with UCD Smurfit School – MSc in Biotechnology and Business, MSc in Biotherapeutics and Business and MSc in International Law and Business – are not eligible for Scholarships.
