Study in Wales is the customer facing brand of the Global Wales program, and promotes Wales as a study destination as a hub of inspiration and information for international audiences considering studying in Welsh universities and colleges.
The Study in Wales brand is one of the Welsh Government’s core sector brands and this website is part of a collection along with Wales’ main international gateway website wales.com.

The Global Wales program provides a strategic, collaborative approach to international higher education and further education in Wales, and is a partnership between Universities Wales, Colleges Wales, Welsh Government, British Council Wales, and the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales.
Global Wales’ projects and activities are managed by Universities Wales, a membership body representing the interests of Wales’ nine universities and works autonomously as part of Universities UK.
Benefits
The Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship program offers scholarships worth up to £10,000 – to study a full-time master’s program in wales, Studies in Wales
. The scholarships are available to students from Vietnam, India, USA, Canada and countries of the European Union.
This prestigious scheme is the first scholarship of its kind in Wales and is offered by the Global Wales Program– a partnership between the Welsh Government, Universities Wales, The British Council and HEFCW, and is funded by Taith.
Requirements

Award in studies in Wales
Scholarships will be given in the form of a tuition fee discount and are non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered.
If the amount of scholarship awarded is more than the cost of the tuition fees, the tuition fees will be covered in full and any remainder will not be issued.
Universities Wales reserves the right to update or amend scholarship awards without notice, based on the availability and quality of applications that are received.
If you are awarded a scholarship, you agree to act as an ambassador for the Study in Wales brand and at times will be asked to participate in events or promotional activities.
Unless otherwise stated, scholarships will be given in the form of a tuition fee discount. Due to strict UK Visas and Immigration regulations, you must be able to show you have sufficient funds to cover the remainder of your tuition fees, as well as adequate living expenses.
You will need to be able to demonstrate this in order to obtain a visa to enter the UK. You can find out more about the UK Visas and Immigration here.
Your chosen University may also have further requirements. You are encouraged to review your chosen University’s scholarship webpages before submitting a Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship application.
How to Apply
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you state the information provided in the application is true to the best of your knowledge.
If you receive an offer of a scholarship, you will be asked to review and sign a scholarship contract. Failure to return this documentation by the deadline set will result in the University offering the scholarship to someone else.
You will need to include your university application number with your scholarship application. Applications submitted with invalid application numbers will not be considered.
