The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) wishes to inform the general for the release of the WAEC results for Private Candidates, taken by 43,742 students in 2022.
West African Examination Council mentioned that there were 20,164 males and 23,578 females who registered out of which 66 were visually impaired and two(2) had hearing loss.
A total of 901 have had their scores were withheld due to suspected cheating.
The Council warns the public to be on the lookout for scammers who may approach students via mobile messaging apps and offer to improve their grades in exchange for a fee paid.
