It quite admiring seeing the Bhim nation President, Stonebwoy, make a lot of moves than most of his fellow artistes. Just this year, 2023 February, his management has been able to secure him an interview with the notable Media firm “The Breakfast Club”, not just that, he has been able to get an international collabo with Jordin Spark.
He disclosed about this collaboration in an interview. he, Stonebwoy, believes that all these big moves were birthed out of networking.
Speaking on how he made it to The Breakfast Club, the Bhim President explained that getting offers like these doesn’t come “cheap no matter at what level it is. You have to put in the resources.”
According to Stonebwoy, his management and himself, has been putting in a lot of work behind the scenes. And as a fact, this is the reason why he grabs every opportunity that comes his way and, in such instances, he is always prepared.
“It didn’t take me two minutes, or I didn’t just fly to New York to get into that studio. I’ve been working over the past years, ready for opportunities, and when you’re prepared, when any opportunity comes, you’re overqualified,” Stonebwoy revealed to Berla Mundi.
“Networking is not a ‘force entry’ into people’s private space or move to be in their circle”, he added.

“The thing is again I want to bring the thing about the mindset. Naturally, where I come from, you’ll hear a thing like ‘)ye aho she sh3’ but you need to get out of that kind of mindset. It’s called networking; you need to connect to grow. These are simple nuggets we play with.”
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy was present during this year at the 65th Grammys in Los Angeles on February 5.
He took the time to connect with some superstars at the awards ceremony which some included Taylor Swift, Lil Baby, Fat Joe, Amber Rose, Kabaka Pyramid, Kirk Franklin, and Jasmine Sander.
CONCLUSION
I agree socializing and networking is necessary, but before that what are you bringing on the table as an individual to whom you want to socialize with.
You need to have a value to socialize, socialization is always a give-and-take affair.
If you`re not bringing anything on the table, you most of the time look like an opportunist.
why do you want to friend Andrew Tates, Asamoah Gyan or a minister of Parliament, because he can help you find a job right? because he can give you money? because you will enjoy some level of protocol right? This makes you an opportunist. Why are you being nice for these favors?
