Applicants must possess credit passes or better (A1- C6) in three (3) Core Subjects, namely:

SSSCE Applicants Admission Requirements At Sunyani Technical University

Likewise, SSSCE applicants must have at least credit passes or better (A- D) in all their Core Subjects, especially:

English Language;
Mathematics; and
Integrated Science or Social Studies

GCE A Level Certificate Holders Requirements At STU

GCE Advanced Level applicants must meet these criteria: First, you should pass at least three (3) subjects with a grade of D or better).

Also, you must apply with credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including:

English Language,
Mathematics, and
Science

HND Holders Admission Requirements At Sunyani Technical University

Applicants must possess a good HND certificate (at least second-Class Lower Division) in Fashion Design Technology or its equivalent to gain admission into the program of study.

Advanced Fashion and Textiles Certificate Examination (AFTCE) Candidates

Applicant must obtain credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies in their SSSCE or WASSCE and three relevant to the program of study.

AFTCE candidates may gain admission into level 200 of the degree program.

Advanced Fashion and Designing Cotvet

Applicants must obtain passes in six (6) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies, in their final examinations and three relevant electives.

Mature Applicant Admission Requirements At STU

Applicant must:

First, be at least 25 years at the time of application.
Second, have at least two (2) years of working experience in the health sector.
Third, have post-secondary school training in laboratory science or allied health science
Fourth, pass entrance exams and interview by the University.

Professional And Other Entry Qualifications

All professional certificates and other qualifications beyond the ones specified above will be referred to the National Accreditation Board to establish their equivalences to determine their eligibility for admission to the B-Tech Fashion Design program.

Foreign Qualification Admission Requirements At STU

The National Accreditation Authority must evaluate your entry qualification to determine its equivalence in Ghana.

After that, you will submit the evaluation report and your entry certificate to the STU for onward processing of your admission.
