Job Position: Assistant Internal Auditor
Purpose
• Assist the Head of Internal Audit to ensure an efficient internal contract system is in place at all times and also to ensure that proper books of accounts are kept by the Bank
General Duties
• Carry out investigations and assignment as required by the Board and management
• Assist the Head of Internal audit to carry out periodic and effective audit of the books of the Bank and present recommendations for decision making
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum qualification of a good first degree with as Accounting or Banking option or a part professional certificate (ACIB, ACCA, CA, CIMA) or as equivalent from a recognised institution
Technical
• Good understanding of the various accounting and auditing standards
• Ability to use T24 Banking software
Personality
• Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
• Detail oriented
• Ability to deal with stressful situations
• High level of integrity/honesty as a key
Location: Eastern Region
