- The Academic Affairs Officer is the head of the Academic Affairs Unit of the College. The Officer in this grade shall be required to show high qualities of sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, precision and professionalism in their area of specialization.
- The Academic Affairs Officer shall be responsible to the College Secretary in the discharge of his/her duties.

- The Unit provides analysis, briefings, reports and detailed plans for internal reviews and support and assist in the coordination of extemal reviews and inspections.
- The Unit also provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues across the College, and students.
