What does the GIMPA School of Research and Graduate Studies Do?

It is tasked with overseeing all research projects undertaken by university students. Its second objective is to control and manage all graduate programmes offered by the university’s other schools.

GIMPA School Fees Structure

It takes great achievement to be accepted into the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, but that is only the first stage. A prospective student can only enrol in classes after meeting certain conditions.

Paying your tuition is one of the criteria. It is also advised for applicants to be aware of the complete price tag for attending the institution before submitting; there is nothing more upsetting than putting your all into an application, receiving a placement, and then being unable to proceed due to a lack of cash.

Depending on the institution, the course, and the level of study (Bachelor’s, Degree, Ph.D., Diploma, or Certificate, or Short Courses), different costs are charged to students. Some colleges, like the Faculty of Law, even demand additional fees on top of tuition, such as for paying for health services and health insurance. International and Ghanaian students may pay different fees; international students pay in US dollars, while Ghanaian students pay in Ghana Cedi.

The university typically adjusts the fees once a year. Prospective, new, and returning students are recommended to regularly check the university’s website for the most recent information on the cost of attendance.

Typically, students pay their tuition once a semester. Freshmen in undergraduate programmes are required to pay all of their first semester fees before the start of registration, 60% of their second semester fees before the start of registration, and the final 40% of their second semester fees before the end of the second semester test.

There can be reasons for students to pay in installments, nevertheless. Plans for payments have also been established for graduate students.

For advice on school fee payment plans, students are encouraged to contact the school.
