She mentioned that Music has always been a part of who she is, but Ghanaians are just discovering that side of her.
She said to Graphic Showbiz, “I have started establishing connections with some of the Ghanaian musicians and I am extremely confident that I would succeed in my music career.”
Regardless to what detractors of her debut single, “Getting to the Bag,” are saying, actress turned musician Efia Odo has stated that she will succeed in music and Ghanaians should support her new endeavour.
She is passionate about music because she is being mentored by a voice coach and other professionals in the field.
When asked if negative feedback would make her give up music, Efia Odo said that she was more than ready to advance in the industry.
In fact, I’m now recording more singles in the studio. You see, I can sing in addition to rapping. I hope Ghanaians would listen to my other singles and enjoy them,” she stated.
Efia Odo clarified “Getting to the Bag” by claiming that she enjoyed singing about her ex and how she had moved on in the song.
she also mentioned her intention to collaborate with Gyakie, MzVee, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy to demonstrate how serious she is about spreading the word about her music.
Getting these musicians on a song won’t be an issue because of the contacts I already have with them, she claimed.
